Ein Ausführungsmodell nach dem 'Alles-oder-nichts'-Prinzip.
Ohne Atomic Delivery wären verteilte Systeme anfällig für inkonsistente Datenzustände, beispielsweise wenn bei einer Banküberweisung das Geld vom Senderkonto abgebucht, aber nie dem Empfängerkonto gutgeschrieben wird.
