Think of a single bee (a Cell). It's smart and knows how to do its job, but it can't build a whole colony alone. A beehive (a Hive) is when thousands of bees work together to do something amazing, like building a honeycomb and making honey. If one bee leaves, the hive keeps working. Cell-Hive architecture makes software work exactly like that.

Technically, the Cell-Hive model relies on 'Agentic Coordination'. Each Cell operates within its own sandbox (like a Docker container or an ICP canister) and communicates via an asynchronous bus. The Hive level manages 'Cross-Cell Synergy', ensuring that the collective output is greater than the sum of individual parts. This is achieved through 'Stigmergy'—a mechanism of indirect coordination where the results of one cell's work trigger another cell to act.
