While 'Blockchain' is the most famous DLT, not all DLTs are blockchains. The technology enables the peer-to-peer transfer of value and data without intermediaries. It is the fundamental layer for cryptocurrencies, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and supply chain transparency.
